How do I order on the Westport Favor Company website?

The Westport Favor Company products may be purchased through our user-friendly website. We want our customers to have a wonderful shopping experience, and our site is designed to be simple and efficient. Simply navigate to the product you are interested in purchasing and click on “add to shopping bag” button. You then will enter the shopping cart, where you may be asked to fill out attributes about the product of interest as well as shipping & payment information. All online transactions are secure & encrypted with SSL (secure socket layer) technology for complete protection of all private and financial information.

Do you offer sample orders, and if so, what is the policy?

Although one of our goals is to furnish our site with excellent product images, we understand that you may still wish to request product samples. Please feel free to order your samples online or call us at 1-800-396-9648 to place a sample order. You will be charged the unit price of the product sample(s) plus shipping and handling. We kindly ask that sample orders be limited to 5 items.

Do you have a printed catalogue?

At this time, The Westport Favor Company does not have a printed catalogue.

ORDERING

What types of payment to you accept?

We accept Visa, MasterCard, Discover and American Express credit card payments.

What is the currency for all prices?

All prices listed on our website are quoted in US Dollars.

What about state sales tax?

By law, we are required to charge a sales tax of 6% for all orders shipped to destinations within the state of Connecticut. Orders sent to destinations outside the state of Connecticut are exempt from sales tax.

Can I order via telephone?

Orders can be placed over the phone by calling our toll free number 1-800-396-9648. Our customer care representatives are available to assist you Monday through Friday, 9:00am - 5:00pm (Eastern Standard Time).

Are online transactions secured?

The Westport Favor Company ensures that all transactions conducted online are completely secure. Our website uses secure socket layer (SSL) technology which provides complete protection of personal and financial information inputted through our site.

What is the minimum quantity?

The Westport Favor Company has a minimum order requirement for many products on our website. Minimum quantity is listed for each product in the product description. You are welcome to place an order in any quantity above our minimum order. If you would like to see a product prior to making a purchase, you are welcome to place a sample order.

What is your product availability?

Most of our products are stocked, and can we usually process items out of the warehouse within 3-4 business days. Please note this does not include personalized items or actual shipping time. There are some items that do require longer lead-times (this will be indicated in the product description). On occasion, products may be backordered, which will also be indicated in the product description. Holidays and weekends do not count as business days.

What are your shipping procedures?

Many of our orders are shipped from our warehouse, though some orders may be shipped directly from the manufacturer. In cases where products are shipped directly from our manufacturer, the actual shipping method may vary from shipment to shipment. Every effort is made to ship products together, but occasionally different products within one order may ship separately.

What shipping companies do you use?

We use Fed Ex, UPS, and DHL.

What if a customer should input incorrect shipping information?

If an order is placed with incorrect or incomplete shipping information, the delivery company may charge a fee to re-direct the package to its proper destination. Any additional fees associated with such deliveries will be the responsibility of the customer.

Will I receive an email confirmation of my order and tracking information?

Yes, you will immediately receive an email confirmation of your order.

What is The Westport Favor Company's Event Planner & Professional Discount?

The Westport Favor Company works with wedding coordinators & other party planners by offering exclusive incentives and dedicated account management. Professionals must have a valid tax ID number in order to receive this discount. In addition, please note that free shipping does not apply to professional accounts. Standard shipping rates will apply

PERSONALIZED PRODUCTS & PERISHABLE MERCHANDISE

Does The Westport Favor Company offer engraving services?

Yes, we do offer engraving services on some products. Please visit our personalized favors section to view our engrave-able items.

How can I be assured that heat-sensitive merchandise will arrive intact during the warm weather months?

Heat sensitive items such as chocolate, cookies, candles, etc, must be shipped next day air to ensure item integrity. The Westport Favor Company will not be responsible for damage incurred to any temperature-sensitive item should you decline expedited shipping.

RETURNS & EXCHANGES

What is your refund and exchange policy?

At The Westport Favor Company, we want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase. We are confident that you will be happy with the quality of our products. However, if you are not satisfied with your purchase, you can return the products to us for a full refund. Please contact us within 7 days of receiving your order to obtain a return authorization number. We will not accept any returns without a return authorization number. Once a return is authorized, we will refund your payment less any shipping charges. Please note that personalized products, perishable merchandise, clearance items and special order items including handmade sachets, samples and ribbon are not returnable. Please return authorized orders in its original form and packaging. We must receive the return within 10 days from the day the return authorization was issued. We reserve the right to reject any returns and exchanges that do not meet these conditions.

How do I file a claim for damaged, defective or missing product(s)?

All claims for damaged, defective or missing product(s) must be filed with Westport Favors within 5 business days of receiving your order. Please call our customer service department at 1-800-396-9648 to initiate a claim. Please note that The Westport Favor Company is not responsible for missing packages and damaged products resulting from errors made by the shipping carrier. However, The Westport Favor Company will be happy to assist you in filing a claim with the shipping carrier.

How do I change or cancel my order?

You may change or cancel your order as long as the order has not been processed and shipped. The timing of this depends on the individual product and stock availability. All changes and cancellations will be subject to a 20% restocking fee once the order has been processed. For all personalized items, once the order has been processed, we do not allow changes or cancellations to be made.

SPECIAL SERVICES & PROGRAMS

Does The Westport Favor Company offer a service to wrap favors, tie ribbon, package favors, etc.?

We do not offer a service to assemble and package favors to retail accounts. We do, however, offer some special services to professional wedding planners (identification and tax ID required). Please call 1-800-396-9648 for more information.

Does The Westport Favor Company have an online affiliate program?

We do not have an affiliate program at this time.

What is the event planner program, and how do I qualify?

The Westport Favor Company event planner program is designed to create a partnership with wedding/event coordinators, retail stores and industry partners. Does The Westport Favor Company offer wholesale pricing?

How does The Westport Favor Company use my personal information?

All information we collect through our website is used solely to process transactions for commercial purposes. Your contact information is also used to get in touch with you when necessary.
